Hackathon is basically a event which can last from a day to weeks, where individuals come together in teams to solve given problems using their engineering skills, whether it be software or hardware.
Mecia Hacks 2.0 is 24 hour hackathon, for teams of 3-4 people.
MECIA hacks is a in-person college level interdisciplinary hackathon, organized by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology, Vasad, which aims to provide a platform for prowess enthusiasts to complete beginner. MECIA represents each and every branch of SVIT departments i.e.
M : Mechanical Engineering
E : Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Communications Engineering
C : Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science & Design, Computer Applications (MCA & BCA) and Clinical (Nursing)
I : Information Technology and B.Sc. IT
A : Aeronautical Engineering and Architecture
Thus the title effectively captures the essence of the event and its interdisciplinary nature.
